Richard Powe is being a bit shy, I suggest we go with this and then he can edit later if he likes otherwise we’ll never get this website set up!! Richard has worked in financial planning and wealth management for c.40 years, founding or co-founding several successful businesses including Ramsay Brown and Edison Consulting. One of pioneers of the industry in the 1980s and 1990s, Richard helped to promote great professionalism, including encouraging advisers to take qualifications and attracting more talented young people to financial planning as a career. Richard specialises in planning advice for NHS consultants with their own private practice and other financially successful professional based in and around London.

John Furlong

Consultant

John spent eleven years in the UK Banking Industry with Lloyds Bank plc, before making a move to Prudential Private Financial Planning UK as a fledging Financial Planner in 1995. This was one of the first report based financial planning services available at the time and was offered to the high net worth market. In 1997, he emigrated to Ireland and eventually established his own Financial Planning Consultancy Company. In 2019, he made the decision to return to the UK where he joined Edsion Consulting as a Senior Financial Planner, working closely with the Managing Director in growing this small IFA business. He has attained an MSc in Financial Services through UCD Dublin and has completed the Certified Financial Planner, CFP™ through the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB).
